Pro Tips
- 🏷️Check dye lots! Buy all your skeins from the same dye lot — subtle color differences are heartbreaking 4 rows in.
- 🔄Keep your receipt. Most craft stores let you return unused skeins — buy one extra and return it if you don't need it.
- 📐Gauge matters. If you crochet tighter than the pattern, you'll use less yarn. Looser? You'll need more. When in doubt, add 10-15% buffer.
- 🧮Substituting yarn? Match by yardage, not weight — a bulky 100g skein has way fewer yards than a fingering 100g skein.
